Kelly was the daughter of Sandra Kelly and Kenneth Parson. Sandra was a chef and Kenneth was working as Scaffolder. Her younger bro is Damien and half-sis is Sasha. Kenneth died at age 57, due to cancer. 

Kelly attended the Thomas Aveling School in Warren Wood, Rochester. At the age of 17, she appeared in the second series of BBC Comedy show "Fist of Fun". She studied in Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, London for 3 long years, then she became a pro-actor.
